Welcome to the Youth On The Rock Community! This site was created in order to create an environment where members of Christ's body across the globe can come encourage, learn, and share their faith. As a result we hope that 1) we will be a testimony of God and His character to those who do not know Him yet (2 Tim 1:8-10) and 2) to mature spiritually to a point where we desire and need 'solid food' (Heb 5:13,14). I know it's a bit long, but it's a must read... Though most people refer to Salvation as the time we accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, that is actually only the first step of Salvation. There are three parts: 1) Justification 2) Sanctification 3) Glorification First I'm adding the definitions for Soul and Spirit before the post in hopes that it'll be more clear The Human Spirit Our human spirit is also composed of three parts: the conscience, fellowship, and intuition. The conscience is that part which enables us to perceive right from wrong and which, accordingly, either condemns or justifies us. Through the fellowship, we are able to contact God and commune with Him. Finally, through the intuition God imparts to us a direct, particular sense or knowledge which is independent of reason, circumstance, situation, or precedent.
